KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A 15-year-old teen is in stable condition after sustaining a gunshot wound early Saturday, May 7.
Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to the 1200 block of James Street around 12:59 a.m. for reports of shots fired. Upon officers’ arrival, they located evidence of a shooting however no victim or suspect was located.
Around 2:30 a.m., a 15-year-old Kalamazoo resident arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound from the shooting. He was treated for his injuries and is listed in stable condition. Currently there is no suspect and the incident is under investigation.
