KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Western Michigan University Vice President Jeff Breneman made a presentation to the Kalamazoo City Commission Monday, and he was quizzed about the ejection of Kalamazoo’s Jon Hoadley from the university’s Board of Trustees, being asked if anything was being done to reverse it.
Hoadley’s appointment by Governor Whitmer was rejected by the state Senate in a move that Breneman blamed on politics.
He says it might not be the last time Hoadley gets a nomination.
Hoadley, a former member of the Michigan House of Representatives, served for just one meeting on the WMU Board of Trustees before the Senate took its vote.
