BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Two juveniles and a adult male were taken into custody after they allegedly damaged 11 vehicles late Wednesday night and Thursday in Battle Creek.
Authorities initially got three calls from people in the Verona area about malicious destruction to their vehicles.
Dispatch then got several more reports at around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday of vehicles being shot at in the Lakeview Square Mall parking lot.
Witnesses reported seeing a vehicle driving around in the parking lot with a passenger pointing a gun out the window.
Battle Creek Police were given a description of the suspect vehicle and dispatched to the area.
When they got there, they found the suspect vehicle and a traffic stop was conducted in the parking lot of a nearby Arby’s.
They say the driver was in possession of a BB gun pistol and two additional BB guns were located inside the vehicle.
Two juveniles and the adult were brought into custody and transported to the Battle Creek Police Department.
