BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A Battle Creek firefighter was injured Saturday morning, February 26, while battling a house fire.
It happened at 95 Clark Street in the area of Raymond Road and Michigan Avenue.
Firefighters were called out to the residence around 11:30 am for a fire that sparked from an electrical outlet.
One firefighter suffered a minor shoulder injury while responding to the fire found in the attic which was caused by faulty kitchen wiring.
No other injuries were reported, and the injured firefighter is currently recovering at home.
