SHERMAN TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — On Monday, February 22, St. Joseph County deputies answered numerous 9-1-1 calls on a man yelling at on-coming traffic and jumping in front of cars around 5:44 p.m.
Police responded to the area of Balk Road and Sherman Mills Road in Sherman Township where the man was seen. While responding, they then received another 9-1-1 call informing them that the same man had assaulted another man who had stopped to talk with him.
Deputies arrived on scene and made contact with a 31-year-old male out of the Detroit area who was taken into custody without incident and lodged into the St Joseph County Jail on assault charges.
