GRAND RAPIDS MI (WKZO AM/FM ) – There is a saying…if you don’t like the weather in Michigan, just wait five minutes and it will change.
That may play out in bold letters over the next 72 hours, as a warm front making its way toward the state will bring with it gusty winds and possible heavy rain.
Forecasters urge that low-level flooding could be possible when the rains appear on Wednesday.
Behind that system is a cold front, which will drop temperatures and change the precipitation from rain to freezing rain to snow, with windy conditions continuing.
Estimates show that up to a half foot of snow is possible in West Michigan Thursday.
And, to add to the variety, temperatures in the area could reach 45 by Sunday.
