WAYNE TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Cass County Deputies were called out to a single-vehicle crash on Friday, February 11.
It happened around 3:16 p.m. on Atwood Road north of Morton Street in Wayne Township.
Authorities say 49-year-old Dowagiac resident Rhonda Weaver was traveling southbound on Atwood Road when she lost control of the vehicle overturning it in a ditch.
Weaver was transported to Borgess-Lee Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
Police say she was wearing her seatbelt, and that drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor.
Assisting at the scene was Dowagiac Police, Fire Department, Wayne Township Fire, and Pacific Pride ambulance service.
