LANSING, MI — The Friends of Turner-Dodge House and the Lansing Parks and Recreation Department are hosting a Holiday Open House at the historic Lansing home this holiday season.
Organizers say all three floors of the house are expected to be decorated for the holidays. Area groups, businesses and organizations are all participating in the project.
Visiting hours are from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and noon to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday. The historic home, which sets on the edge of Old Town, will be open from noon to 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, according to a press release from organizers. The Turner-Dodge Open House continues through Jan. 1.
Admission is $5 for adults and free for children 12 and under. Proceeds will go towards restoration and preservation of the mansion. Visitors will be required to wear a mask in accordance to the city’s safety guidelines.
