NEW YORK CITY NY (WKZO AM/FM) – The deadline for Pfizer workers to have their COVID vaccine is Monday, 11/15.
Employees who do not comply with the mandate are faced with weekly testing or possible termination.
The federal government has stated that all businesses with 100 employees or more must mandate the vaccine by January 4th…Pfizer officials set their deadline as Monday.
A press release from the company seemed to indicate that almost all of its employees have either gotten vaccinated or an accommodation and that no one would be fired either on the Monday deadline date or immediately afterward.
It is not known how many employees have received the vaccine, and specific numbers for the Pfizer facility in Portage, where the vaccine is produced, are also not available.
