KALAMAZOO MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety announced on Thursday that they have arrested a suspect wanted in a spree of armed robberies over a three-day period last month.
The 21-year-old man is suspected of robbing six businesses between October 23rd and 25th, each time entering the business with a handgun and demanding money.
KDPS officers executed search warrants at addresses on Lay Blvd. and Albatross Ct on Wednesday, and the man was taken into custody on Thursday.
He is currently lodged in the County Jail pending formal charges on Friday.
