BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Battle Creek Police Department (BCPD) reported Monday that a man has been released from medical care following a shooting Friday.
Police say the man called 911 to report that he had been shot at a residence on Review Street.
The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment and was discharged later that evening, according to police. There were two male suspects involved in the shooting, one of which was known by the victim.
Police say this incident was not random, and it appears to be related to a dispute between the victim and one of the suspects.
Police added there is no threat to the general public at this time.
