BATTLE CREEK MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kellogg’s is requesting its workers, currently on strike against the company, urge their union to allow a vote on a new offer.
Kellogg’s officials have put forth a four year contract proposal, which they say addresses the issues that union officials said had to be dealt with, including increased wages, retirement and benefits.
The so-called two-tiered wage system, which was the primary point of disagreement between the company and the union, was also eliminated in the latest offer.
Kellogg’s said that union officials flatly refused to call for a vote on their latest offer, which was released on November 3rd.
