KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Supporting local businesses just got even easier, and rewarding with the Kalamazoo Downtown Partnership’s Downtown Dollars BOGO deal set to launch Friday, November 5.
From November 5 until November 19, consumers who are shopping local can get an additional $10 free with the purchase of $20 in Downtown Dollars. Officials say this deal however, is limited to $100 per person until funds run out.
“Even as the state has moved beyond shutdowns, businesses continue to need support,” said Kalamazoo Downtown Partnership President Andrew Haan. He went onto say also that shopping early brings much-needed dollars into local establishments and ensures shoppers will get the perfect gifts for the holidays.
Downtown Dollars work like a gift card at more than 50 participating downtown restaurants, shops, and businesses in Kalamazoo. They can be accessed via phone or can be printed off for a simple shopping experience. They are currently available for purchase at https://bit.ly/3CXh9S4
In addition to the Downtown Dollars BOGO deal, the Kalamazoo Downtown Partnership is bringing back its Small Business Saturdays promotion, hoping to bring cheer to the community and dollars to downtown businesses.
