EAST LANSING, MI — It will be an early morning of tailgating fun for Spartan and Wolverine football fans the day of the rivalry game. The Big Ten Conference announced Monday the Oct. 30 game will kick at noon eastern and be broadcast live on Fox in a nationally televised game.
The Spartans and Wolverines are currently undefeated. MSU is idle this weekend while Michigan plays at Northwestern on Saturday at noon. Both teams are ranked in the Top 10 in the country.
Spartan fans are being distracted with news that Louisiana State University could be interested in hiring MSU’s head coach, Mel Tucker, as its next coach. LSU and its current head coach, Ed Ogeron, this weekend reached a financial agreement for him to depart at the end of the season. Tucker is a one time assistant at LSU.
