KALAMAZOO MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Motorists who have been taking advantage of the lull in the Nichols Rd. project should be aware that things will kick back into gear starting Monday.
The Kalamazoo County Road Commission reports that sanitary sewer construction will begin on October 4th on Nichols between Alamo and Grand Prairie, which will completely close that portion of Nichols for the duration of that project.
Motorists can also expect delays on S Sprinkle Rd between N Ave and Milham Rd starting Monday, as crews continue to mill and pave the road there.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
