ALBION, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — M-DOT begins pavement repairs and resurfacing for a six-mile portion of the westbound lanes of the expressway between 23 mile and 29 mile road starting Tuesday, September 7.
The 255 thousand dollar investment will include hot-mix asphalt cold milling resurfacing, skip patching and pavement markings.
Nighttime single lane closures will occur during the repairs between 6 p.m. and 10 a.m. Commuters should be cautious of roadwork crews and equipment while driving westbound on I-94 in the Albion area.
M-DOT expects the project to be completed by September 21st.
