KALAMAZOO MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The resumption of in-person school sessions has presented new challenges, as districts deal with personnel shortages and varying mask policies.
A report presented on WWMT News explained how the Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Agency, or KRESA, is handling special education needs given the teacher shortage.
A spokesperson said that re-purposing the existing staff to cover the needs of the students has been a primary focus, while still attempting to recruit more staff to the agency.
