MARENGO TOWNSHIP, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – A 33-year-old Battle Creek man was killed Tuesday morning when two vehicles collided in Calhoun County.
The crash took place on Michigan Avenue and 22 1/2 Mile Road at about 11:00 a.m..
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department says the fatal victim died at the scene. His name has not been released pending notification of family members.
The other driver was not injured.
The Michigan State Police Motor Carrier Division is investigating the crash with assistance on accident reconstruction from the Sheriff’s Department.
Other agencies assisting were Marshall Area Firefighters Ambulance Authority, Marengo Township Fire Department, AirCare and the Calhoun County Road Department.
