HOLLAND MI (WHTC AM/FM) – Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies are continuing their investigation into a fatal one-car accident Saturday morning in Allendale Township.
Deputies were summoned to the area near Fillmore St and 52nd Ave at around 1:50 am, and found a car that had struck a tree.
The driver was pinned inside, and while rescuers were attempting to get him free, the victim died of his injuries.
Deputies say that the man was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident.
