KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A single vehicle crash claimed the life of a driver and injured a passenger in Kalamazoo County.
It happened Saturday morning, May 22nd, around 5 a.m. on Sprinkle Road north of Wynn Road.
Police say a single vehicle was traveling south on Sprinkle Road when it drifted across the northbound lanes, went through a fence, and struck a concrete pillar. Emergency responders found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames upon arrival.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger of the vehicle was taken to Bronson Hospital with serious injuries…
