SPRINGFIELD, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – A mobile home was destroyed early Tuesday morning in a fire at the Avenue A Mobile Home Park in Springfield.
The Battle Creek Enquirer reports the home was engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived at around 4:00 a.m..
Springfield crews received assistance from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
A couple inside managed to get out safely. Neighbors assisted a woman in a wheelchair out of the home.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is not known.
