ONTWA TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) –Two men from Indiana were arrested in southwest Michigan after a variety of illegal drugs were discovered in a vehicle during a traffic stop.
Michigan State Police troopers stopped a vehicle that had a stolen license plate on M-62 in Cass County’s Ontwa Township Wednesday. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of two ounces of crystal meth, fentanyl, and crack cocaine. They also found over 150 Xanax pills and 1.4 pounds of marijuana along with two guns.
The 43-year-old male driver, who is a wanted fugitive, and an 18-year-old male passenger, both from South Bend, were taken to the Cass County Jail on numerous drugs and weapons charges.
