ALLEN PARK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Lions will begin the 2021 campaign September 12 at home against the San Francisco 49ers. Detroit will then travel to Green Bay for a Week Two matchup on Monday Night Football.
The Lions visit the Los Angeles Rams and former quarterback Matthew Stafford on October 24 and host the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving. Detroit wraps up the regular season at home against Green Bay January 9, 2022.
This is the first year that 17 games are on the NFL regular season slate.
