KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety police responded to the 100 block of East Maple Street Friday around 4:30 a.m. on a report of a felonious assault involving a handgun.
The male suspect, whom the victim described to police on the scene, was located and still in possession of a handgun on his person.
Officers then located and seized two more handguns during a search, and arrested a 29-year-old Kalamazoo resident for the felonious assault and other weapons offenses.
