DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers have added another outfielder to the roster by signing Nomar Mazara.
Multiple sources report the one-year deal is worth $1.75 million. Mazara hit .228 with one home run and 15 RBI with the Chicago White Sox in 2020.
Detroit also signed free agent outfielder Robbie Grossman to a two-year deal this off season.
Major League Baseball has set game times for the regular-season, with all 30 clubs scheduled to play on Opening Day, April 1. The Tigers begin the 2021 campaign at home with a three-game series against the Cleveland Indians.
Detroit ends the season on the road against the Chicago White Sox October 3.
