PHOENIX, AZ (WKZO AM/FM) – After losing to the lowly Detroit Pistons last month in overtime, the Phoenix Suns delivered a payback Friday night as they defeated the Pistons 109-92.
Detroit has dropped three straight and eight of their last ten. They own the worst record in the NBA at 5-17.
Poor shooting from distance doomed the Pistons Friday night as they were only 19 percent (7 for 36) from beyond the arc. Devin Booker scored a game-high 23 points for Phoenix while Chris Paul added 20 points. Jerami Grant led Detroit with 21 points.
The Pistons take on the World Champion Lakers in Los Angeles on Saturday.
