Red Wings losing streak up to seven after getting blast at Tampa Bay

TAMPA, FL (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Red Wings opened a six-game trip with a 5-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Anthony Mantha scored the lone goal for Detroit.  Starting goalie Tomas Griess was replaced by Calvin Pickard  early in the first period after giving up three goals on five shots.

The Red Wings will try to snap their seven-game losing skid as they face the Lightning again tomorrow.
