KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officials continue to look into the cause of a fire early Saturday morning.
Officers were called to the 900 block of Wheaton Ave. at around 12:20 a.m., and discovered smoke coming from the second floor of the structure.
Authorities then entered the building via the roof, found the fire, and brought it under control in about 30 minutes.
No injuries were reported, and the occupants of the house were not there at the time of the fire.
