ALLEN PARK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – During his first press conference as new Detroit Lions head coach, Dan Campbell set a tone quickly, saying that the team will take on the identity of Detroit.
He said the city has found a way to overcome adversity and when you knock the team down, “we’re going to get up and while on the way up, we’re going to bite a kneecap off.”
Campbell replaces Matt Patricia, who was fired in November after going 13-29-and-1 in nearly three years with the Lions.
