KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for a number of west Michigan counties, including Kalamazoo, Allegan, and Van Buren, as a burst of snow moves through Southwest Lower Michigan this evening, enhanced by Lake Michigan.
Most areas will see trace amounts to around an inch of new snow. For areas south and west of Grand Rapids however, 1 to 3 inches of new snow may fall for Holland, South Haven, Bangor, Paw Paw, Kalamazoo, and Wayland.
The NWS says use caution while traveling tonight due to slick roads. Snow will end by morning.
The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 4:00 a.m. Wednesday.
