KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) – A six-hour standoff with Kalamazoo Dept. of Public Safety officers Saturday resulted in the arrests of two suspects and no injuries.
Authorities were dispatched to the 2000 block of March St. around 5:30 pm on a report of a person being threatened by a man with a weapon.
The suspect then went into the house and refused to come out for the next six hours.
The 32 year old man surrendered to police shortly before midnight, and was arrested on felony weapons charges.
A second man, a 34 year old, was also arrested on felony charges.
The Criminal Investigation Division is currently investigating the incident.
