PORTAGE, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – American Airlines service at the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport resumes on Tuesday after being suspended in October due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Airport Director Craig Williams says in a statement released by the airport, “We welcome American’s return to Kalamazoo and the access they provide to their extensive network of domestic and international destinations. Throughout the pandemic, American assured the Airport of their commitment to Southwest Michigan and their return confirms that commitment.”
One flight to and from Chicago’s O’Hare Airport will be operated by American every day.
The flights are timed to maximize the number of domestic and international connections at O’Hare.
