LANSING, MI — Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer as expected has extended the state’s coronavirus restrictions implemented on businesses three weeks ago. The COVID-19 pause is now set to run through at least December 20.
The week’s long pause has shut down indoor dining at Michigan restaurants, and closed other businesses down completely. For example, movie theaters are closed and unable to accommodate patrons.
A group of Michigan hospitals issued a statement this morning urging the extension of the coronavirus restrictions through the holiday season.
