OMAHA, NE (WKZO AM/FM) – The Western Michigan University hockey team fell to Omaha, 10-2, in its second game of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference Pod at Baxter Arena Thursday night.
The Mavericks broke a 1-1 tie with three second period goals then added six more goals in the final 20 minutes to put the game out of reach.
Western Michigan is back in action Sunday at 1:05 p.m. against No. 1 North Dakota.
