EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State University kicks off against number four Ohio State in college footballat Spartan Stadium tomorrow at noon.
MSU is 2-and-3 on the season after a 29-20 upset win over then number eight Northwestern last weekend.
Ohio State is 4-and-0, but did not play last week after their game against Illinois was cancelled due to Covid-19. OSU will be dealing with several key players and staff out of action following an outbreak of COVID-19 on the team, including head coach Ryan Day, who will stay in Columbus.
The Buckeyes will turn to longtime assistant Larry Johnson to handle sideline duties until Day is cleared to return.
The University of Michigan will not take the field tomorrow after its game against Maryland was cancelled because of Covid-19. The Wolverines have a 2-and-4 record in 2020 following a 27-17 loss to Penn State last Saturday.
Michigan is scheduled to play at Ohio State next weekend.
Western Michigan University hosts Eastern Michigan Saturday in the Broncos’ home finale.
