LANSING, MI — New owners are being sought for the Lansing Mall in Delta Township. The mall’s owner, New York City-based Brookfield Properties, listed the property in October with real estate firm CBRE.
The move comes after news broke this summer that a Brookfield representative met with township officials in July to discuss alternate uses for the Mall, according to several local media reports.
There isn’t much left at the mall. Houlihan’s and Chipotle Mexican Grill closed stores in the last year. Anchor tenants Younkers and Macy’s closed more than a year ago. The property includes 709,925 square feet of retail space on just over 81 acres and includes an empty movie theater.
