EAST LANSING, MI — So much is unknown about the upcoming college basketball season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In fact, Michigan State University only has one game officially on its schedule – against Virginia – but now it appears they have another probability.
According to several reports the Spartans will play at Duke on Dec. 1 in one half of the two-game Champions Classic. The other half of the Champions Classic, Kansas vs. Kentucky, will be played that day in Indianapolis.
Head coach Tom Izzo’s Spartans are scheduled to visit Virginia on December 9 in this year’s Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
