DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is back on the COVID-19 reserve list. He missed practice yesterday. ESPN reports Stafford is considered high risk after being in close contact with a non-team member who tested positive. He had a false positive back in August.
Four Lions starters did not practice yesterday due to various injuries. Among them are star receiver Kenny Golladay and safety Tracy Walker. Returner Jamal Agnew also sat out yesterday. Four other starters, including tight end T.J. Hockenson, were limited in practice.
The Lions practice again today for Sunday’s game against the Vikings in Minnesota. With five straight days of negative tests, QB Matthew Stafford would be eligible to come off the COVID reserve list and play. The Lions are 3-4, while the Vikings are 2-5.
