Red Wings sign center Dominic Turgeon to contract extension

DETROIT, MI (WTVB) –  The Detroit Red Wings have signed center Dominic Turgeon to a one-year contract extension.

The 24-year-old was drafted by Detroit in 2014 and has played most of his career with the Grand Rapids Griffins.

Turgeon has five shots on goal, six hits and 11 blocked shots in nine appearances with the Red Wings.
