(Reuters) – U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper said on Wednesday China has repeatedly fallen short of promises to abide by international laws and said Beijing wants to project its power globally.
Esper, speaking at an event in Hawaii, also accused China of hampering the global efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
