ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – University of Michigan cornerback Ambry Thomas will give up his final year of eligibility and enter the NFL Draft.
Thomas made the announcement on social media yesterday, saying the difficult decision to leave Michigan was made after the Big Ten postponed the football season. He broke up seven passes, forced two fumbles and had two interceptions last year.
Thomas is the second player to leave the Wolverines for the NFL Draft this week after tackle Jalen Mayfield announced he would not return to Michigan.
