VAN BUREN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A fugitive sweep in Van Buren County has led to the arrest of nine subjects with outstanding felony warrants.
The sweep on Wednesday was conducted by the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division, Narcotics Unit, and the Uniform Response Division.
The following suspects were arrested for eight felonies and two misdemeanors:
- 55-year-old Laura Faye McCoy — Felony for Possession of Methamphetamine $1,000 Cash Bond
- 58-year-old Fred Sidney Fey — Felony for Possession of Methamphetamine $1,000 Cash Bond
- 39-year-old Brandy Lynn Smith — Felony For Possession of Controlled Substance $2,500 Cash Bond
- 47-year-old Dale Eugene Parish Sr. — Felony for Possession of Methamphetamine $2,000 Cash Bond
- 64-year-old Dwight Edward Whiston — Felony for Operating Under the Influence 3 rd Offense $5,000 Cash/Surety Bond
- 31-year-old Christopher Michael Pitcock — Felony 3 Counts Delivering Controlled Substance $30,000 Cash Bond
- 27-year-old Keith Wayne Hooper –Felony for Possession of Methamphetamine $10,000 Cash Bond
- 28-year-old Morgan LeeAnn Terry — Felony for Possession of Methamphetamine $10,000 Cash Bond
- 30-year-old Dannielle Modena Petty — Misdemeanor Failure to Appear orig. Charge OWI $925 Cash Bond
All of the subjects were booked into the Van Buren County Jail and authorities say COVID-19 precautions were employed for the safety of the inmates and personnel.
Other criminal investigations related to the sweeps were opened and are still being investigated.
