BERRIEN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The body of a 13-year-old Otsego girl who had gone missing in Lake Michigan on Thursday was discovered Friday.
Berrien County authorities said that the girl was reported missing at around 9 p.m. after swimming at Warren Dunes State Park.
Searchers resumed their efforts on Friday, and around 12:30 p.m. police were notified of a body near the shore of Pier Street beach in Lakeside.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.
