KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A pedestrian is injured after a crash near Kalamazoo’s West Douglas Neighborhood.
Public Safety officers were called to the 1400 block of West Main Street near Monroe Street around 12:30 a.m. Monday where they found the victim who had been struck by a vehicle.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital where their current condition has not been released. Multiple witnesses reportedly saw the victim walking in the street before the crash.
Authorities say that the driver is cooperating with the investigation. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
