GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WTVB) – U.S. Education Secretary and West Michigan native Betsy DeVos is continuing to push schools to open in the fall.
On CNN’s State of the Union Sunday, DeVos said school leaders need to make plans to get kids back in the classroom. She claimed guidelines from the CDC are meant to be flexible.
DeVos said officials know there are going to be coronavirus hotspots around the country and those have to be dealt with on a case by case basis.
