KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) –Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are searching for suspects after a drive-by shooting in the city’s Edison Neighborhood.
It happened around 11:30 a.m. Friday in the 1300 block of Washington Avenue between James and March Streets.
Witness say they saw two occupants in light colored SUVs shooting at each other while driving down the street.
When authorities arrived they located nine shell casings in the street from two different caliber firearms.
No bystanders or homes were hit but a bullet did strike an unoccupied parked car on the block.
There are no suspect descriptions at this time.
