KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — One person is in custody after an argument led to a drive-by shooting on Kalamazoo’s Northside.
Public Safety officers responded to the 800 block of Woodward Avenue near Nola Street just after 6 p.m. Thursday after a report of gunshots.
When they arrived a victim explained that they got into an argument with an acquaintance. The suspect then left the area, returned a short time later, and fired several rounds at the victim’s house.
Kalamazoo and Portage officers were able to locate the suspected vehicle in the 7100 block of Provence Drive off of Romence Road in West Portage.
A 23-year-old Portage resident was arrested and booked into the Kalamazoo County Jail. Charges are pending.
