KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are looking into the cause of a house fire in the Vine Neighborhood.
Crews were called to the 700 block of Locust Street, north of West Vine Street around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday and found smoke and flames coming from the residence.
Firefighters worked to contain the fire to a single apartment and brought the flames under control in about 15 minutes. No injuries were reported. Authorities did not state if the home was occupied at the time of the incident.
The department is investigating the circumstances surrounding this fire. No other details have been released at this time.
