KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Police in Kalamazoo are searching for two suspects connected to a shooting that occurred Monday.
Around 3:30 p.m., officers were called to the 1400 block of Fox Ridge Drive at the Fox Ridge Apartments off of Alamo Avenue in Kalamazoo’s West Douglas neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim who had sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound, along with several bullet casings.
The shooting took place in a hallway of a large apartment complex where several families and children were present. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Witnesses informed officers that the suspects were two unknown males. Only one of the suspects was armed with a firearm. Officers are actively working to identify the suspects.
