MILTON TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — One person is injured after a vehicle rear-ended another in Cass County over the weekend.
It happened just before 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of US-12 and Fir Road in Milton Township.
Cass County Sheriff deputies say 23-year-old Kenneth Mcgahee from Elkhart Indiana was turning left onto Fir when 38-year-old Donna Burkhart, also from Elkhart, failed to stop and rear-ended Mcgahee.
Burkharrt was taken to Lakeland Hospital in Niles for her injuries.
Authorities say seatbelts were worn and drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the crash.
